THE LPs
Liquid filled LPs are not new, but the existing production methods mean that very few people can actually own them. Most are made using two lathe-cut sides of an LP which are then glued together by hand with a plastic spacer and liquids (of varying quality) are then injected into the cavity.
The problem with this, aside from inconsistencies in quality and sealing, is that they’re incredibly laborious to make, expensive and manufactured usually in very small runs of less than 50 units with worst sound quality than the existing format.
After 18 months of development Bad World has been able to solve these problems, manufacturing the records at scale using industrial processes and pressing the records using traditional presses, meaning the same great sound quality you’d expect from an LP and industrial sealing processes to ensure no leaks.
How It Works
The Vault is where new campaigns will launch and be available on a timed pre-order. The Vault will open and close and run-sizes will not be advertised. If you get a copy it will be shipped on a specified release date.
